  10.        This release note describes patch SG0003911 to IRIX
  11.        6.2/6.3/6.4/6.5.

  15.        This patch contains bug fixes for all hardware platforms.

  20.        This patch contains the Base Compiler Standard Execution
  21.        Environment, version 7.3.  This patch is made to install on
  22.        a system running IRIX 6.2, IRIX 6.3, IRIX 6.4, or IRIX 6.5
  23.        (through IRIX 6.5.9 m/f). The development subsystems of this
  24.        patch (i.e. compiler_dev) require the MIPSpro 7.3 Compilers.
  25.        This patch will not install on IRIX 6.5.x systems with
  26.        MIPSpro 7.3.1.2m since its fixes have been rolled up into
  27.        MIPSpro 7.3.1.2m.

  29.        As a result, the correct way to install these patches is to
  30.        use the following command under inst(1):

  42.        SG0002416, SG0002483, SG0002752, SG0003131 and SG0003598.

  44.        This patch is incompatible with patches SG0001969,
  45.        SG0002342, SG0002575 and SG0002800.

  47.        The software cannot be installed on other configurations.

  274.        meet the requirements for installing a particular patch, run
  275.        _i_n_s_t.  The _i_n_s_t program does not allow you to install
  276.        patches that are incompatible with your hardware or
  277.        software.

  279.        Patch software is installed like any other Silicon Graphics
  280.        software product.  Follow the instructions in your _S_o_f_t_w_a_r_e
  281.        _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n _A_d_m_i_n_i_s_t_r_a_t_o_r'_s _G_u_i_d_e to bring up the miniroot
  282.        form of the software installation tools.

  284.        Follow these steps to select a patch for installation:
